About California Trails Education Project (CTEP)
Let's take a trail to everywhere.
Why not? Because the trail stops before you can get there, you say? California Trails Education Project (CTEP) wants to help connect the dots between California's scenic trails -- from San Diego north to Eureka, from the waters of Tahoe to San Francisco Bay... ...from your front door to the great outdoors. We educate in support of SJR-8, the California Nonmotorized Trails Master Plan resolution, which was passed with 44 legislative co-sponsors in the California State Legislature in September, 2017. |
Our MissionAt a moment when disruptions from Climate Change threaten the very foundations of our civilization, California Trails Education Project uses education and entertainment to enlighten California citizens about the many benefits of creating a seamless and unified state-wide network of non-motorized trails.
Such benefits include: - A reduced carbon footprint for human transportation in California - Improved health benefits to many citizens through increased use of human powered transportation. - Inspiring a new generation of urban development to sustain a healthy economic future for California.
