CALIFORNIA TRAILS EDUCATION PROJECT

Connecting trails to everyday life.
At a moment when disruptions from Climate Change threaten the very foundations of our civilization, California Trails Education Project uses education and entertainment to enlighten California citizens about the many benefits of creating a seamless and unified state-wide network of non-motorized trails.

Such benefits include:
    - A reduced carbon footprint for human transportation in California
    - Improved  health benefits to many citizens through increased use of human powered transportation
    - Inspiring a new generation of urban development to sustain a healthy economic future for California

Using Music and Entertainment for Trails Education

Picture
Educating about the many benefits of non-motorized trails should be as much fun as using them. CTEP brings education, music and other entertainments together for adults and children of all ages. Choose CTEP for the education and entertainment needs of your next fundraising event!

CTEP's Executive Director, David Leon Zink, once got lost on the Continental Divide -- so he knows the value of a good trail!

David's career spans both music and the business world.  He got his professional start with the legendary New Christy Minstrels, and as a performing songwriter and recording artist he's toured extensively in Europe and the U.S.  David's work as a business consultant has included connecting local governments, colleges and universities, hospitals and other nonprofits to federal funding opportunities.
